Teach With Us

Do you have a skill, interest, or project that you want to share with the community? We want to hear all about it! Becoming an instructor through the Community Education program is fast, easy, and an all-around incredible experience. Here are some helpful tips to get you started:

  • NEW INSTRUCTORS: If you are new to the program, please fill out a New Instructors Form. You will need to provide three (3) references, a brief course description, and a proposed course Schedule.
  • RETURNING INSTRUCTORS: If you have taught with us before, please fill out the Returning Instructors Form.
  • ADDITIONAL CLASSES: If you have already proposed a class with us and wish to add additional classes to your roster, please fill out the Additional Classes Form.

For further assistance, please consult our Instructor FAQ or call the Community Education Office.

Pricing & Payments

Instructors can set their own proposed cost for classes they teach. If you are charging a cost for your class, you must fill out and submit a W9 form to the Community Education Coordinator.

Teaching through our program does not give you employment status through the Niagara Wheatfield School District. Payments to instructors are issued after a class has run, or after the last day of class. Your compensation is equal to your proposed class cost multiplied by the number of students registered.
