Program Descriptions

Students in the "Regular Program" could transition between three instructional models as directed by state and local government. Continuity of learning will be maintained from the perspective of a student during these transitions.

In-Person Model: All students attend every day following a regular schedule with safety measures in place, including wearing masks at all times, with the allowance for teacher directed mask breaks.

Hybrid Model: Students are assigned to one of two attendance groups. The groups of students alternate coming to school and working on learning activities from home.

Regular-Remote Model: All students participate in learning activities from home.

Students in the "Virtual Program" will participate in one model only.

Program Enrollment Changes

Families committed to their child's initial Program Enrollment in August 2020 for the first ten weeks of school. Families will / have had subsequent opportunities to change their child's program enrollment at the ten week, twenty week, and thirty week marks.

Program Enrollment Change Forms for week 30 through the end of this school year are linked below.

These forms are only for families who wish to request a change in their child's program enrollment. Please fill out the appropriate form for each child for whom you wish to change their program.

Please note that this change will be effective beginning Tuesday, April 20, 2021 through the end of the school year. (Note: Monday, April 19, 2021 is an Asynchronous Day)

These forms will accept change requests during the week of 2/22 through 2/26. Forms will close Friday, February 26 at 5:00p.

Asynchronous Days

In October, we communicated about the creation of six “District-Wide Asynchronous Days.”  These days are utilized for our teaching staff to connect with families, take part in professional development related to technology and instruction, and consult with peers on best practices. On these days, students access learning materials either online, or with teacher-provided materials.

Note: To provide an opportunity for a smooth transition for students who are switching programs at the 30-week mark, we moved the asynchronous day originally scheduled for Monday, May 3, 2021 to Monday, April 19, 2021.
