    Who are We?

PAVAS is an organization of Niagara Wheatfield students who help to promote and advertise for the fine arts, including performances and student artwork.  The group consists of actors, dancers, singers, poets, musicians, crew, and artists.

What are the goals of PAVAS?

The members of PAVAS hope to provide a supportive and encouraging environment for all types of artists.  We hold events such as Children’s Theatre, Open-Mic Nights, and an annual Battle of the Bands/Talent Show.  PAVAS will also be rewarding its members by taking them to a professional show.

    What have we done?

Over the years, the members of PAVAS have worked to support their fellow artists by sponsoring several fundraisers.  We have donated funds to students in need, including Adopt a Family.  PAVAS also purchases two books a year for the elementary schools to add to their libraries.  These are the books our cast uses to inspire our Children’s Theatre performance. Participants in the Battle of the Bands are also awarded prize money up to 100 dollars to encourage them to keep practicing their music.  We have sponsored workshops from Niagara University, held a holiday art festival, and performed a second children’s theatre performance for 4th and 5th graders.
