Eco Campus Revitalization Project

NIAGARA WHEATFIELD ECO CAMPUS REVITALIZATION PROJECT

Phase One of the project was completed on October 13, 2018, and was a huge success!  Please see before and after pictures of the project below.  About 60 volunteers, including student members of the Interact Club, Outdoor Club, National Honor Society, teachers and staff, Parent Organizations, School Board, Rotary Club, Niagara River Greenway Commission and community leaders joined us to clear out beds and plant trees, shrubs, native grasses, flowers and spread mulch.

The Niagara Wheatfield Eco Campus Revitalization project is for the two-mile walking trail around the Niagara Wheatfield School Campus, located at 2260 Saunders Settlement Road (Rt. 31) in Sanborn, New York.  The trail is part of the New York Power Authority Licensing Agreement.

Phase Two of the project is scheduled for May 18, 2019 from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.  Please consider joining us to make the next phase of our project as successful as the first.
